Our testing lets you know up front, based on your transportation or storage requirements how well it will stand up to normal conditions it will face. This will reduce the opportunity for your products to arrive damaged to the end user, saving you the cost of returns in the short-run and lost customers in the long-term.
All compression testing relates to stacking or crushing of packages, particularly shipping containers. We can measure the force required to crush a package, stack of packages, or a unit load under a variety of conditions. Packages can be empty or filled as for shipment. A force-deflection curve used to obtain the peak load or other desired points. Other tests use a constant load and measure the time to failure or to a critical deflection.
We can use dynamic compression by testing shock or impact testing with an additional load to crush the test package either with single or stacked product/package vibration testing.
We offer complete compression testing with advanced equipment that is fully programmable to meet your specific requirements. The results can be graphed as load deflection curves.
